Commitment refers to attachment and loyalty. It is associated with the feelings of individuals about their organization (Armstong, 2014).

During Affective Commitment stage of emotional attachment to the organization, an employee has a high level of active commitment and employee actively gets involved by the management in the organizational activities like meetings and discussions and obtaining valuable inputs such as ideas or suggestions. In the second stage of continuous commitment, employees feel they must stay because they feel attached to the organization over time.
